Key Responsibilities: The FSI Program Lead is responsible for controlling Client Assistance Cards and consolidation and data entry of financial and statistical information. This position is responsible for the collaborative leadership of the Financial and Statistical Information program within the region including:

• Ensuring a plan for the separation of duties and that all financial controls within a region are met.
• Coordination with Recovery and Disaster Action Teams to ensure access to financial instruments.
• Supporting the consolidation and data entry of financial and statistical information into standard Disaster Operation Control reports when necessary.
• Serve as a Red Cross subject matter expert in Financial and Statistical Information program guidance and tools.

Availability Needed: 4-6 hours a week, including 1 hour a week during business hours (day/time of that hour can change).

Qualifications:

• Financial background equal to Accounts Payable or higher.
• Ability to build and lead a team using a collaborative leadership style.
• Demonstrates traits of honesty, forward looking, competence, intelligence and compassion.
• Ability to envision a team’s impact in Financial and Statistical Information and inspire the team into action.
• Ability to ensure the team understands how they fit into the larger DCS structure and how their actions can positively influence and support the DCS Program as a whole.

Purpose: The FSI Program Lead is a VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITY that supports the American Red Cross Regional Disaster Cycle Services department. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership to Disaster Cycle Services workers in performing Financial and Statistical Information activities during preparedness, response, and recovery within a Region.
