There are 3 primary Volunteer Positions at Eternity Hospice and Palliative Care:
Patient and Family Support Volunteer
- Volunteers having direct contact with active hospice patients and their families
- These Volunteers visit patients weekly
- The ideal Volunteer should be mature with time, patience, energy, warmth, and a willingness to commit.
- They will have to provide their own transportation to and from the office and patient. - They will need to - Record every meeting with the patient in our mapping system.
- This Volunteer is the most active. Though this is true, there are limits to the care provided by Volunteers.
Administrative Volunteer
- Running errands for the office
- Assisting in the office
Special Project Volunteer
- Assist in special events that EHPC hosts.
- These events include creating gifts, visiting Senior Centers, serving Assisted Living Centers, etc.

We are ETERNITY HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE (EHPC) . At EHPC we recognize the importance of addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients during the final and among the most precious days of their lives. Our mission is to provide quality end-of-life care with compassion , respect , and dignity . We recognize that Volunteers are an essential link to achieving this mission.
As a Volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients who are terminally ill. Volunteers can either be a Patient and Family Support Volunteer, Administrative Volunteer, or Special Project Volunteer. We hope that you will strongly consider being a part of our team here at EHPC. We want you to experience the reward and joy that comes with volunteering with us.
