An English Program Coordinator is needed to manage the English classes offered by the International Women's Club. English classes are offered in Iowa City for 10 weeks each fall (September - November) and each spring (February - April.) Classes are usually offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Duties include recruiting and managing teachers, marketing the classes to potential students, managing the registration of students, providing resources and support for teachers, maintaining amicable relations with the host site (usually a church), explaining classes to and cooperating with relevant community groups serving similar populations, and serving on the board of the International Women's Club to get input and report status. The new coordinator is needed to assume her role as of January 2025 with help from the outgoing coordinator. It is possible to job shadow and learn from the current coordinator during the fall 2024 semester to start in mid-September 2024.
