English Program Coordinators are needed to help manage the English classes offered by the International Women's Club. English classes are offered in Iowa City for 10 weeks each fall (September - November) and each spring (February - April.) Classes are usually offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Possible duties include recruiting and managing teachers, marketing the classes to potential students, managing the registration of students, providing resources and support for teachers, maintaining amicable relations with the host site (usually a church), and explaining classes to and cooperating with relevant community groups serving similar populations. The coordinators serve as a team of 3 under the supervision and with the support of the experienced, ongoing English Program Manager. The new coordinators are needed to assume roles as of August 2024 to prepare for the fall 2024 semester to start in mid-September 2024.
