Ushers help ensure that all patrons have a wonderful experience at Severance Hall by providing guidance and information to patrons at every public event. They are expected to meet, greet and seat patrons and to assure their comfort and safety while in our building. Ten ushering teams share the schedule of about 200 events per year. Interview and training required.

Volunteering at Severance Hall offers you an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to The Cleveland Orchestra and the Musical Arts Association. It is your chance to help us provide outstanding service and hospitality to our patrons and significantly enhance their experience in our building. As a member of the Front of House Team at Severance Hall you will experience performances by The Cleveland Orchestra and other outstanding world-class artists and ensembles throughout the year and meet interesting people who share your love of music.
