Before you sign-up:
Virtual Coffee Kickoff for Gun Violence Prevention! Make sure you sign up for the first time slot on Monday, May 13th at 10am, where we will get together, hear from our partner orgs, go over the legislative priorities, answer questions and build community on what is expected to be a meaningful and impactful week. So grab your coffee or beverage of choice and let's do this!
Please sign-up for all shifts that you are available and we will work to book advocacy meetings with your elected officials within those time constraints depending on the legislator's availability. We encourage you to sign-up for as many shifts as you can! Please understand that the shifts we are offering for advocacy day denote a range of times within which we will schedule advocacy meetings. After you sign-up:
We will work with you and others in your area that have signed up to schedule meetings with your elected officials, provide talking points on our priority bills, and offer an advocacy training prior to advocacy week to help you prepare. Be on the lookout for more guidance and dates for our advocacy training!
Never advocated for gun violence prevention before? Don’t worry, we’ll have some of our long-time advocates, and/or Brady/Team ENOUGH staff to join you in the meeting and advocate for gun violence prevention together!
We will also update you on any and all events related to Gun Violence Prevention Advocacy Week!

Mission Statement
To unite all Americans against gun violence. We work across Congress, the courts, and our communities with over 100 grassroots chapters, bringing together young and old, red and blue, gun owners and non gun owners alike to find common ground in common sense. In the spirit of our namesakes Jim and Sarah Brady, we have fought for over 45 years to take action, not sides, and we will not stop until this epidemic of gun violence ends.
Description
American gun violence is a complex and multifaceted issue that will persist unless our elected leaders take action and embrace targeted solutions that address the root causes of gun violence and its various forms. This complex issue requires big thinking and teamwork. Brady’s programs unite people of all kinds, to address all forms of gun violence. When we work together, we can solve our biggest challenges. These programs save lives. We work to address suicide, examine how gun dealers and manufacturers are flooding our communities with gun, exploring novel legal strategies to hold bad actors accountable, and strengthen our democracy to ensure that future generations can live in an America free from gun violence.
