Volunteers will help support the American Cancer Society's Night of Hope, which brings together South Jersey's business, healthcare and community leaders for a cocktail celebration supporting the American Cancer Society's vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Volunteer opportunities will be divided into two shifts: Set-up and Event Help

Volunteer Shift 1 (Set Up):1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

  • Helping staff set up various displays (such as a photo backdrop and step-and-repeat)
  • Welcoming vendors and providing direction and assistance for set up when needed (training to be provided)

Volunteer Shift 2 (Event Help): 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

  • Helping with guest registration, which includes checking guests in by name and handing out program books (training to be provided)
  • Leading one of the on-site activations, such as guest portraits being painted, so that guest and vendors have a seamless experience
  • Helping with breakdown toward end of the event

2 Shifts

  • Fri May 03, 2024 - 01:00 PM to 06:00 PM
    Volunteers will help set up for the Night of Hope. This will include assembly photo backdrops, and setting up auction and raffle items.
  • Fri May 03, 2024 - 06:00 PM to 11:00 PM
    Volunteers will help check guests in at registration and direct guests to various activations throughout the evening.
