Opportunity: Gala Committee Coordinator

The Gala Committee is seeking an organized, proactive volunteer to take on the crucial role of Gala Committee Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the committee has all the information, resources, and follow-through needed to successfully plan our annual gala event.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact and coordinator for the Gala committee
• Gather and distribute relevant information, documents, vendor contacts, etc. to committee members
• Follow up diligently to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines are met
• Manage project timelines and logistics
• Identify any roadblocks or needs and work to resolve them
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes
• Provide general administrative support to the committee as needed

Requirements:

• Extremely detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
• Strong project management and multitasking skills
• Ability to take initiative and see tasks through to completion
• Comfortable requesting information from others and following up
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Gmail, and scheduling tools
