Kid’s Ambassadors Program (New)

LifeSmart Education's Kids' Ambassadors Program is an incredible opportunity for children who seek a cultural exchange experience from the comfort of their homes. The objective of the program is to bring together kids ages 7 to 14 from all over the world to interact in a remote environment that is safe and fun.

Each week kids will explore a different topic, such as school activities, studies, social life, food, family, and local events such as fairs, concerts, and festivals. In addition, ambassadors will be assigned age-appropriate movies to watch or books to read that they can discuss with their peers.

Position Summary

We are seeking culturally aware Education Mentor/Moderator Volunteers who enjoy working with kids. Your role as a moderator will be to create a safe environment for children to come together and share their life experiences. As a mentor/moderator, you will make appropriate suggestions to keep the conversations flowing respectfully.

This volunteer position requires a minimum of a 3-month commitment.

Responsibilities:

  • · Plan, create, and organize weekly tasks and activities for kids' ambassadors
  • · Create fun and engaging program materials
  • · Provide guidance and tips for our kids' ambassadors on effective communication
  • · Work collaboratively with LSE staff to achieve the program’s objectives and goals

  • · Proactive and responsible
  • · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • · Experience working with children or a degree in Education or Psychology
