Responsibilities and Duties

• Accurately record patient histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and laboratory results in the EHR system.

• Accompany healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring the collection of comprehensive and organized medical data.

• Work efficiently and keep pace with the healthcare team to ensure timely documentation and patient care.

• Offer technical support to healthcare providers in navigating the EHR system, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Preference for either prior experience as a medical scribe using an EHR system or advanced computer skills with the ability to expertly document patient appointments.

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills.

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
