Pittsburgh International Airport is seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to support our passengers and help ensure a smooth and stress-free travel experience. As an Airport Ambassador, you’ll play an essential role in creating a welcoming and accessible environment for travelers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with wayfinding and navigating the terminal.
- Escort first time flyers or passengers with hidden disabilities.
- Provide translation services via an online interpreter or your own language skills.
- Participate in airport tours and other special events.
Skills and Qualifications
- A friendly outgoing personality.
- A passion for volunteering and helping your community.
- A customer service background.
- An Aviation Enthusiast.
- Be sensitive to and be respectful of diverse populations.

Time Commitment

Description
Pittsburgh International Airport Ambassadors are volunteers from the community who donate their time to provide courteous and friendly assistance and provide a warm welcome to visitors. Ambassadors can make things simple in a busy airport. Ambassadors are what Pittsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvania are all about.
- Meet and greet passengers and visitors
- Help passengers and visitors by directing them to the appropriate personnel
- Answer questions and provide information about Pittsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvania
- Serve as translators in special circumstances
- Assist travelers with special needs
