Senior Services Associates has partnered with Rover Rescue, a cat and dog rescue and foster program. To help feed, groom, maintain, and vaccinate the foster pets, Rover Rescue has a large Barn Sale each summer. Many volunteers are needed to help clean and set up the barn, sort donations, and organize the items for shoppers each summer before the sale. Help is also needed each weekend during the Barn Sale to greet customers, keep items organized, and sort new donations.
There are shifts each weekend. The schedule is created ahead of time and offered to the volunteers to choose their own shift for the day/weekend.
When the Barn Sale ends for the year, volunteers get first pick of items that are left!
Please come help our local foster fur babies by helping this fundraiser move smoothly!

Description
RSVP of Southern Kane & Kendall Counties IL volunteers serve in a diverse range of non-profit organizations, public agencies, and faith-based groups. RSVP volunteers serve from a few hours a month to almost full time.
You decide when and where you want to volunteer. RSVP of Southern Kane & Kendall Counties makes volunteering easy.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 16
- We are asking for volunteers to commit to at least 2 hours of service time. If you can only give an hour, we will still gladly accept the help you can give!
- Those old enough to drive and get themselves to and from the Barn Sale are welcome to volunteer. If you are 55 or older, you are eligible for the RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) and are eligible for mileage reimbursement.
