Fundraising Event for Kohl Children's Museum - Touch A Truck
Where: NIPSTA Campus (2300 Patriot Blvd, Glenview, IL ) just north of the Museum
When: Sunday May 5, 2024
Time: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM (shifts: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM or 11:30 AM- 2:30 PM ) let us know what shift or if you can do BOTH shifts.
What: Volunteers roles will be assigned such as: Greeter, Safety Guards, Train Loaders and Mobil Learning Lab (MLL) assistants (we ask that you be flexible in the role assignments)
- You will help to ensure a positive event experience for the attendees, monitor and safeguard young patrons and / or help to set reset our imagination playground blocks and other items
- Must be 18+ years old (not accepting high school student volunteers for this event )
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and outgoing personality
- You will get a Kohl Children's Museum TAT T-Shirt to wear during event

Since 1985, Kohl Children's Museum, a not for profit, educational facility has been dedicated to "hands-on" learning and fostering innovative ways to inspire intellectual growth. We are one of the few museums in the country that has always focused on early childhood learning - the fundamental, critically important learning that occurs from birth to age 8. Kohl Children's Museum's growth has been magnified partly due to all the time our dedicated volunteers have generously contributed over the years. With an organization that operates 7 days a week in a facility that is over 46,700 square feet, there are many ways that you can step in to make a difference in thousands of young children's lives!

- Able to stand for long hours, and ensure a positive experience for our patrons and children. We are not accepting any high school students for this event.
