Coastline is seeking a skilled development professional to serve on our dynamic Development Committee. As a volunteer member, you'll play a crucial role in securing funding, developing partnerships, and supporting programs and services for older adults in our area.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults in your community? Do you have expertise in fundraising, grant writing, or strategic planning? Join us in our mission to support and enhance the lives of seniors across Massachusetts!
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals and community leaders. Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday.
- Help identify and pursue funding opportunities to support vital programs and services.
- Support fundraising activities and events.
- Provide strategic guidance and support in fundraising efforts, grant writing, and donor cultivation.
- Make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults in need of assistance and support.

Coastline is a non-profit which develops, provides and coordinates a range of home care services designed to support and maintain the independent living of adults of all ages and children with disabilities.
Description
Coastline coordinates a variety of in-home services to frail older adults through our case management system. Some of these services are provided directly by Coastline. Most are provided by agencies in the community under contracts and grants awarded by Coastline, with funding that comes primarily from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs.
We are committed to:
- preventing or postponing the need for institutional care,
- facilitating the return home after an institutional stay,
- advocating for older adults and people with disabilities,
- funding local projects and providing support to local Councils on Aging and Senior Centers.

- Committee meets monthly at 10:30 a.m. on every 3rd Thursday. Additional contributions may arise as projects and goals are pursued including attending Coastline fundraisers when able.
