Each year, we’re inspired by and grateful for the Komen 3-Day volunteers who pick up trash, set up cheering stations, cheer on tired walkers and much, much more. Because volunteers like you donate your time and passion, we are one step closer to finding a cure for breast cancer.

Volunteer registration is open for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day. It’s time to sign up!

Volunteer opportunities have differing requirements. Please see below for volunteer opportunities and age requirements:

Route Volunteers: Help support the walkers at route stops, cheering stations, and more! Volunteers must be 18+ to volunteer on the route.

Finish Line Festival Volunteers (If under 18, must submit minor consent form): Help support and celebrate all that the walkers and crew have accomplished! Assignments and age requirements below:
- Victory T-Shirt Distribution: 10+ with adult
- Gear Retrieval: 14+
- Concierge/Volunteer Check-In: 18+
- Pit Stop Support: 10+ with adult
- Traffic Control & Shuttle: 18+
- Finish Line Festival Breakdown Team: 14+

Mission Statement

Susan G. Komen is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the Komen 3-Day, the organization has invested more than $1.5 billion to fulfill its promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.

Description

Thousands of women and men come together, each raising money for Susan G. Komen. Then they take their commitment to end breast cancer one step further and walk 60 miles over the course of three days.

Net proceeds from the Komen 3-Day fund innovative global breast cancer research and local community programs supporting education, screening and treatment. Virtually every major advance in the fight against breast cancer in the last 28 years has been impacted by a Susan G. Komen grant.
