ALMA needs help fundraising to offer assistance for critical needs. Many of our clients come to ALMA of Austin in the worst time of their lives. We aim to relieve the stress of late rent fees, overdue electricity bills and basics such as food, clothing and housing. ALMA of Austin is a young non profit dedicated to improving the lives of youth living with disabilities by offering skills that will help them across their lifespan.

Mission Statement

ALMA is dedicated to bringing awareness to schools, community and the juvenile justice system by partnering with local businesses so that persons with disabilities feel empowered and possess the tools and skill sets needed to thrive across their lifespan

Description

Too often, children with disabilities are left to maneuver the many systems that are designed for mainstream America. ALMA of Austin is committed in assisting the most vulnerable children by providing them protection and support through education and advocacy, in schools and in their community. We are committed to transforming their lives because we know that it will change the world that they live in. ALMA of Austin will advocate, educate and support youth and families by offering job, life, hard and soft skills. Youth will be employed by the ALMA of Austin store and work, learn and develop skills to obtain full-time employment by partnering businesses.
