ORGANIZATION: NYC Parks Stewardship Program

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 3 people are interested

Join us the Stewardship Team as we restore saltwater marsh in Hook Creek Park with a volunteer plug planting! Urban wetlands provide a variety of benefits including improved water quality and storm water retention. They also serve as critical habitat for native wildlife! Please note, volunteers should dress in clothes that can get dirty and close-toed shoes. We also encourage volunteers to bring their own water bottles.
