Help assemble furniture for refugees. Our non-profit organization helps refugees settle into their new lives here in Las Cruces. Help make a difference in a refugee's life!
We need help assembling donated furniture such as chairs. This furniture will be used to furnish the homes of refugees who have just arrived in Las Cruces. This volunteer opportunity will be indoors and is appropriate for teenagers, adults, and elders.More opportunities with Lutheran Family Services

Description
In 1975, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) contacted LFSRM to begin resettlement of refugees. Since that time, the LFSRM Refugee & Asylee Programs have helped people who have been uprooted by persecution and violence work towards self-sufficiency through essential resettlement services, including: housing, employment, English language, and cultural orientation.
