The Heart Walk is a fun family event where participants walk with friends, family members and
co-workers and get moving together as they join more than a million people in more than 300 communities across the country in taking a stand against heart disease and stroke - the No. 1 and No. 5 killers of Americans.

We are proud to present this unique opportunity to volunteer your time and talents at the Greater New Haven Heart Walk on Sunday, May 18, 2024 at Lighthouse Point Park - 2 Lighthouse Road New Haven, CT 06512

VOLUNTEER ATTIRE: Wear comfortable sneakers. Volunteer t-shirt will be provided at the event. The Heart Walk is rain or shine, please dress appropriately.

TIME COMMITTMENT: Please be prompt and arrive by 7:00 am to learn about your role(s) and remain through break-down of the event - approximately 1:00 pm. Periodic breaks will be scheduled throughout the day.

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES: Volunteers are so vital to the success of this event; therefore, as someone says "Yes! Count me in," we are thrilled and consider it a serious commitment, and truly depend on each person to attend, actively participate...and have some fun! We encourage all volunteers to be flexible with their responsibilities throughout the event, as we may need to adjust assignments as the event progresses.
