Event Support Volunteers provide essential assistance during IRCO events. Volunteers will be contacted when support is needed for upcoming events and may be asked to help with tasks such as venue setup and cleanup, registration, greeting attendees, staffing information tables, and other duties as needed. Volunteer assignments will be communicated in advance by the IRCO Volunteer Team, including details about the event and specific responsibilities, and any prerequisite training or onboarding required.

Experience working with immigrant and refugee communities

Multilingual or fluency in languages other than English is preffered

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) is a non-profit organization established in 1976 to serve immigrants and refugees in Portland, Oregon. IRCO assists individuals and families successfully navigate their lives from cradle through career. IRCO provides programs and volunteer opportunities in the following areas:
