Elderly patients NEED you!
Patients that are nearing the end of their journey need visitors. You would provide a great service by just sitting with them and listening to their stories, or reading to them, or watching their favorite TV show with them. Or you may be a comforting presence when their family cannot be sitting at their loved one's bedside.
The time you spend with a hospice patient is completely up to you - we ask for a weekly visit, but the day and time are on your schedule, anytime you can.
Please consider volunteering 1-2 hours a week to brighten the day of a patient on hospice. Your visit will be the highlight of their day and probably their week!
