ORGANIZATION: San Antonio Public Library

Teen volunteers lead clubs for ages 13-18 at the Collins Garden Library. The clubs are based around the interests of teens, so could be themed around k-pop, anime, drawing, yoga, or any other hobby or activity interesting to club host and other teens. Staff will support teen in find good time for club, promoting club and creating flier and other promotional items, purchasing any supplies the volunteer may need for their club, and helping monitor, assist and support as needed.

1 Shift

  • afternoon / 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM
    Teen Club is usually from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm in the summer, but teens can host club at a time that may work better for their schedule.

  • Must be at least 14
  • Orientation or Training
  • Teen needs to be able to come (somewhat regularly) to the club, which can 1 or 2 hours in length, and have another 1-2 hours per week to plan for the club activities. Volunteers are welcome to recruit another teen to co-host club to share duties.
  • Be ready to have fun, be creative and collaborate with other volunteers! Earn volunteer hours for school or other organizations.
