Position Description: Social Media / Marketing Volunteer

Position Overview:
The Social Media/Marketing Volunteer will play a crucial role in promoting the mission, events, and activities of [PRIDE Organization] through various social media platforms and marketing initiatives. This volunteer will help raise awareness and engagement within the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Create and curate engaging content for [PRIDE Organization]'s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
Schedule and publish posts to maintain a consistent online presence.
Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.

Digital Marketing:
Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns to promote events, fundraisers, and advocacy efforts.
Utilize targeted advertising to reach specific demographics and expand the organization's reach.

Content Creation:
Develop compelling visual and written content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts, to showcase the organization's impact and initiatives.
Collaborate with the team to capture and share stories of empowerment, diversity, and inclusion within the LGBTQ+ community.

Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze the performance of social media and digital marketing efforts using relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
Prepare regular reports on key metrics and audience engagement to inform future strategies.

Qualifications:
Passion for and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community and advocacy.
Experience in social media management and content creation (experience with platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc., is a plus).
Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
Familiarity with analytics tools to track and interpret digital engagement metrics.

Time Commitment:
Flexible hours, approximately [X hours] per week, with some availability for events and campaigns happening outside regular hours.
