Hello all, we at Ferndale Parks & Rec are hosting a skate competition called "Skate Jam". This event will be held on June 7th from 11-3pm. This will be our second time hosting a skate competition ourselves and we would appreciate some help. We sign volunteer hours if needed and we will provide free food to all volunteers. Volunteers are expected to help with tent/table set up the event, help setting up for table and equipment for GearUp donations, and breakdown of both, Skate Jam & Gear up. Feel free to email me with any questions or concerns you may have. We would like volunteers to arrive around 9:30, if you cannot arrive by 9:30 please let us know when we can expect your arrival.

We are the Parks & Recreation Department for the City of Ferndale Michigan. Ferndale has approximately 20,000 residents and a vibrant downtown. Most of our programs are offered at the Kulick Community Center or at local city parks.
