Hey there, Volunteer Superstars!
April is here, and you know what that means? It's National Volunteer Month, and we're ready to celebrate with some fantastic opportunities to get involved and make a difference!
We've got an exciting lineup of events coming your way, and Single Parent Connection needs your help to make them all a success! From family movie time to community resource fairs, there's something for everyone to enjoy while giving back to our amazing single parent community.
Check out the awesome events we have planned:
Family Movie Time Event Date: May 4th Time: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Edna Martin Christian Center Community Resource Fair Date: May 7th Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
School Supply/Family Game Battle Event Date: July 6th Time: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Wheeler Mission Women and Children's Shelter Recreation Event Date: August 31st Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Single Parent Family Christmas Party Date: December 21st Time: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Not only will you have a blast volunteering at these events, but you'll also be making memories that will last a lifetime and spreading joy to families in need. Plus, you'll get to hang out with some pretty awesome people (that's us)!
But wait, there's more! We're also looking for volunteers to help with administrative, marketing, and bookkeeping tasks. If you have skills in these areas and want to lend a hand behind the scenes, we'd love to have you on board!

Single Parent Connection Inc.'s mission is to improve self-sufficiency and strengthen single parent families through education, empowerment and support.
Description
Single Parent Connection Inc. (SPCI) is a small but growing 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by single parent Dionne Brown. We received federal recognition as a nonprofit organization March 1, 2018, but we've served Central Indiana single parent families since 2016. Our programming was recently featured on WRTV6, FOX News, PEOPLE Magazine, PBS, CBS, Access Daily (Access Hollywood) and other news outlets.
We offer Smart Money Management workshops, toiletry and necessity assistance, Boys to Men life skills workshops for boys who are being raised by a single mother, continuing education scholarships and so much more. Our programming rotates yearly so we can offer a variety of services to the families we serve each year.
