Volunteers provide a critical service transporting blood products from our main office in Omaha to area hospitals. We have shifts available 7 days a week in both the morning and the afternoon (4.5 hrs/shift). Hospitals and patients rely on the dedication and commitment of these volunteers.

Description
The Midwest Region Blood Services supplies blood prioducts to more than 80 hospitals in Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, and Kansas, and across the nation. The region relies on volunteer blood donors, more than 400 employees and 1,300 volunteer blood drive coordinators to provide lifesaving blood for patients in need.
The Midwest Region is one of the 35 Red Cross Blood Regions located across the United States. Together, these regions provide nearly one half of the blood needed each year to treat patients across the nation, about 6 million units.
