Hello Dallas!
We are looking for volunteers to go to facilities and help out with with crafts or bingo.
This is perfect for a retiree or a college student. We need day help. Does this sound like something you would be interested in?

To become a volunteer you must:

  1. Fill out an application and consent to run a background check. (we pay for that)
  2. Do Relias on line learning modules
  3. Get a TB Test - We offer the TB test for free at our Villa Rica office Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Then you will have to go back two days later to have the test read.
  4. Meet for a face to face orientation.
  5. Start your volunteer work.

The mission of Agape Hospice Care is to provide quality care for patients faced with a life-limiting illness. We assist any person with a terminal illness with the ability to live with little or no pain or suffering and to accept death without fear.

Description

Agape Hospice Care was a nurse-owned and family-run hospice that believes in providing the best care possible. At Agape Hospice Care, we support an individual’s Goal to live each day as they decide, whether in the home or at a facility. Agape Hospice Care Volunteers are an integral part of the Hospice team. We take pride in having volunteers from many different backgrounds with many different talents and abilities. Our hospice volunteers give generously of their time to assist patients, and caregivers to relieve some of the tasks required when one becomes lives with a terminal diagnosis.
