Children (1-5 years)/ teaching in schools program

This is a very unique and interesting placement in Africa cities and surrounding villages. The program provides an opportunity to work very closely with children aged 1 to 5 years/ 6 years to 22 years at the orphanages, day care centers (Kindergarten) and primary schools. Most of these children are from poor home. Parents send their children to the kindergarten to at least have breakfast and lunch. Parents also uses this program to get a place for their babies to enable them go for job hunting. STAESA kindergarten program is really playing a great role in the community. With regards to the orphanages, children end up in the orphanages because of lost of both parents.

Volunteers will have opportunity to help in the orphanages and also help in the schools to teach the children basic and conversational English, Alphabets, numbers, games, feed the babies, washing the babies and help them to have a sleep. Meeting and talking to these children is really lovely. Please don't miss this opportunity. Project location is safe, communities are very welcoming and the kids are very lovely and kind to work with.

Please note: you will first been taking through an observation period - kind of showing you the way to go and how to go about the program for at least a week before you will be allowed to handle the program on your own. We assure you the program is very safe, very educational and full of fun! You will not like to go back home after the program.
