STAESA's teaching and orphanage program in Africa provides a great opportunity to work very closely with orphanage, primary schools, high schools and vocational institutions. The program allows volunteers to get direct contact with the children to share their knowledge and make an impact in the kids’ lives.

Often volunteers are provided with independence accommodation or placed with host family who live very close to the schools. Your work will put smiles on the faces of the children. Volunteers will teach basic and conversational English, Maths and Science. Other subjects can also be taught if you have knowledge or experience in those areas.

In the orphanage, the volunteers work directly with the kids after school. Activities include- Helping in the kitchen, Helping the kids with home work, feeding the little ones, teaching music and dancing

Get closer to children in Africa to have a great insight of cultures in Africa. This is very exciting program with lots of fun working with children in the schools and in the orphanage. Do you want to experience really African culture? This is the right place to be, have real African experience and touch lives.

Total population of a particular class is 30 to 40 kids. The project location is very safe, Communities are very welcoming and the children are very lovely to work with.

Volunteers are given a curriculum to study before they start to teach the children. There is always a mentor who comes around the class to help and make sure teaching method are properly followed by the volunteer. STAESA’s teaching program is run in both rural and urban areas in Africa. Weekends are always free for the volunteers to travel for sightseeing. There are lot of benefits awaits you for joining us.
