The Ronald McDonald House of Norfolk is looking for volunteers to participate in our Comfort Food Program. Individuals and groups are wanted to donate their time by preparing a delicious, home cooked meal for the families of ill children who are residing at our House. The people who stay here give so much of their time, energy, and love to their sick child that sometimes they have little time left to spend on anything else. The untold comfort that a meal provides to such a family is immeasurable, and the kindness of these volunteer efforts help to provide them with the strength needed to focus on getting their child well. Volunteers may prepare the food in the fully-equipped Ronald McDonald House kitchen or bring it in from home. We ask that all volunteers contact us to schedule a time that is most needed for meals.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its programs are grassroots-driven to enable the Charity to offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which help in the healing process.
