Join The Nature Conservancy in hand planting young oak trees to help fill the forest canopy after years of site preparation at Baxter's Hollow Preserve in the Baraboo Hills. No previous experience is required. We ask that each participant registers in advance and be at least 18 years of age.

The meeting location is along Forest Drive (approximately 0.6 miles south from the intersection of Happy Hill Road - map link). Attendees will walk from the parking area to the planting site on unpaved and uneven ground. Please dress for the weather and potentially muddy conditions. We suggest wearing full length pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat and sturdy, closed-toe footwear. We also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle and work gloves if available (we will have work gloves if needed). Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
