Reporting to: Executive Director

Hours: 4 hrs. week

Overview:

The Rise Mission is to provide healing, deliverance, and support to those facing challenges such as homelessness, substance abuse, and alcohol addiction. Our approach involves reaching out to individuals one-on-one and conducting community outreach programs. Additionally, we serve as a restoration center and community space, functioning as a house of prayer where we offer the ministry of the Word, Deliverance, and Healing with the sole purpose of restoring lives.

Position Description:

The Rise Up Mission Organization is seeking a motivated and creative volunteer to join our team in the role of Video Production, Editing and social media Creative Content. The volunteer will play a crucial role in supporting our organization’s multimedia and social media initiatives by creating compelling visual content to raise public awareness.

Responsibilities

Video Production and Editing:

• Shoot, edit and produce high-quality videos that align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
• Develop engaging content including social media posts, videos to highlights stories and experiences.
• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and storyboard video ideas.
• Ensure videos are optimized to be used in various platforms i.e.: YouTube, Instagram and Facebook and organization website.

Social Media Creative Content:

• Design and create engaging visual content for social media platforms including short videos.
• Assist in the creating and execution of social medial campaigns and strategies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in video production, editing and social media content creation is preferred.
• Proficiency in video editing software and graphic design tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to contributing positively to the community.
