Peer Facilitators : Individuals lead(co-lead) twice a month to support a group in our evening program.

They are responsible for helping to create a caring environment in which group members share their stories, feelings, memories and discuss how to cope with the challenges in their lives. Consistent attendance is important to ensure consistency for kids and families.

Volunteers are required to attend mandatory training.

Description

At Laurel's Love Center for Grief and Hope, we believe in providing compassionate and personalized care to children, families, and adults. We use a peer-facilitated approach which helps individuals create a toolkit of skills to navigate their unique journey. We offer a menu of different pathways for healing including the arts, somatic movement, and community and cultural connection.

Laurel's Love Center for Grief and Hope is a nondenominational, free, and a safe space for children, families, and adults to grieve. As a not-for-profit, we offer a range of programs and resources to support you on your personal grief journey.

  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
