Join us at PelicanFest, an Earth Day celebration at Linda Mar State Beach in Pacifica on April 26, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Presented by the Pacific Beach Coalition, this event invites the Bay Area to discover and celebrate our local pelicans.
Booths will line the North Parking Lot with engaging activities for adults and children to learn about pelicans and other local nature! Join environmental and community groups, and hear from inspirational speakers as we celebrate Earth Day and keep watch for pelican sightings.
PelicanFest will follow a morning of volunteering events at cleanups and habitat restoration locations around the peninsula from 9-11am.
More than just an event, PelicanFest is a movement toward preserving our planet's future, offering a chance to connect with nature and like-minded individuals.

Description
Primary programs include:
- Weekly cleanups, rotating through the beautiful beaches in Pacifica, Montara and Half Moon Bay on San Mateo County's coast.
- Monthly habitat restoration.
- Earth Day Actions & Celebration.
- Adopt-a-Beach Program coordination.
- Education and outreach regarding the watershed, beaches and ocean.
Something for everyone to participate in. All ages and interests.
