Are you a wiz in the kitchen? Do you want to share your love of cooking and food with the community?
Neighborhood House is looking for volunteers to take foods in our Emergency Food Bank and transform them into meals that inspire our guests to try new foods that they can get from our pantry.
Volunteers would work with our program staff to create a dish that utilizes one or more items in the food bank for guests to try when they visit. Neighborhood House would provide the volunteer with kitchen space, supplies, and additional ingredients needed to create the dish.
Then, the volunteer would have the option to stay while the food bank is open to serve small samples to guests.

- The Emergency Food Bank is open from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, so volunteers would need to arrive with enough time in the morning to prepare the dish in our commercial kitchen.
