The Tennessee Urban Forestry Council (TUFC) is seeking a volunteer to create social media content supporting our promotion of urban and community forestry across Tennessee.

The volunteer will primarily be responsible for designing templated social media content for repeated use in Facebook and Instagram posts over the year. The posts will feature:

  • Arboreta (Weekly, all year)
  • Tree Sanctuaries (Biweekly, all year)
  • Landmark, Historic, & Heritage Trees (Weekly, April and May)
  • Conference Promotion (Weekly, April - October)
  • Awards of Excellence Winners (November)
TUFC will provide a library of photos and narrative text for the volunteer to pull from. The volunteer can serve on an ongoing basis with an est. 1-2 hours weekly or choose to create social media assets in advance as part of a one-time project. We are also open to creative ideas and flexible with the scope of the role based on your skills and preferences.

The Tennessee Urban Forestry Association is a membership based nonprofit organization made up of people who believe trees are an essential resource for quality of life in Tennessee communities.
