The Brotherhood of Excellence Academy is seeking a dedicated volunteer Event Planner to help us organize the upcoming Male Summit. This is a dynamic role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys seeing a project come to life.

Responsibilities:

• Logistics: Secure a venue location considering date, time, and capacity in conjunction with the Executive Director
• Speaker & Partnerships: Research and solicit proposals from potential keynote speakers, panelists and small group presentation. Collaborate with other organizations to foster participation and partnerships.
• Marketing & Promotion: Develop a comprehensive marketing plan. Create social media content, flyers, and promotional materials. Manage event registration through Eventbrite or a similar platform.
• Communication & Outreach: Conduct outreach calls to potential attendees and sponsors. Communicate effectively with vendors, speakers, and potential volunteers.
• Set up Meeting: Set up various virtual and in-person meetings as needed by the Executive Director
• Support: Support the Executive Director with additional event planning details and execution from the Board
