The Adoption Coordinator (AC) plays a crucial role in facilitating the adoption application
process ensuring that our Golden Retrievers find loving and permanent homes. You will be the face of GRRoW to potential applicants and have a hand in placing animals into their forever homes.
Advocates for all adopters on the waitlist, ensuring all adopters are communicated with
during their wait and are matched to the appropriate dog, liaising with the Foster Coordinator
and Dog Advocates, as needed.
This position requires strong communication skills, great customer service skills (you are a
person's first impression of GRRoW), responsiveness, ability to manage multiple/competing
priorities, work as team player and detail oriented.
This is a volunteer position for an all volunteer dog rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called Golden Retriever Rescue of Wisconsin.

We do everything in our power to assure humane treatment, spay/neuter, rehabilitate Golden Retrievers by placing them in caring foster homes. We strive to educate the public in responsible dog ownership, proper health & nutrition, spay/neutering, training & good canine citizenship and discourage unwanted & careless breeding practices. We promote humane care for all dogs.

GOLDEN RETRIEVER RESCUE OF WISCONSIN, INC. is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming Golden Retrievers. GRRoW is a volunteer-run organization, and to cover the expenses of caring for rescued goldens we rely on donations and fundraising as well as sales from our online shop to continue our mission to save goldens who deserve a long and fulfilling life.
