Position Overview:

The Surmount Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, implementation, and coordination of our organization's programs and initiatives. This role involves collaborating with leadership, volunteers, and external partners to ensure the successful execution of programs that align with our mission and goals. The Program Coordinator will support various aspects of program management, including team support, collaboration, and program evaluation.

Reports to: Program Director

Key Responsibilities:

Program Planning and Development:

- Assist in the development and implementation of program goals, objectives, and strategies.

- Collaborate with the program team to design program activities, curriculum, and resources.

Program Logistics and Coordination:

- Coordinate program logistics, including scheduling, venue reservations, and materials preparation.

- Communicate with program participants, volunteers, and partners to ensure smooth program operations.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

- Assist in monitoring program activities and collecting data to track progress toward program goals.

- Support the evaluation of program outcomes and effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant attendance, and volunteer hours.

- Prepare reports and summaries of program activities and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

Communication and Outreach:

- Assist in developing marketing and outreach materials to promote program offerings.

- Support in communication efforts with current & potential partners

- Communicate program information to stakeholders through various channels, including websites, social media, and newsletters.

Time Commitment:

This is a volunteer position requiring approximately 5 hours per week of commitment. Flexible scheduling is available, with some evening and weekend availability required to accommodate program activities and events.
