Visiting Hospice patients in their homes, whatever that may be....private home, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities or board and care facilities. Spending time, life review, playing games, watching TV, just being present.
Do you play music or sing? Great, our patients need you.
Are you a licensed pet therapist? Great, our patients need you.
Are you a licensed massage therapist? Great, our patients need you.
Are you a licensed manicurist or hairstylist? Great, our patients need you.
Are you a licensed family counselor? Great, our families need you.
Are you a veteran? Great, our veterans need you.
Do you like to do administrative work? Great, we need you.
As you can see there are many ways to be that special person that helps the families and patient in this end of life experience. Giving comfort to patients and families at the end of life is a very rewarding service both for the patient and family as well as the volunteer. Come and join us!
