Whether you're a native speaker or have advanced proficiency, your skills can help refugees build new lives in their host countries. Our digital platform facilitates 1-1 video sessions, making teaching flexible and personal.

About The Educational Equality Institute

Location:

Nydalsveien 28, Oslo, Oslo 0484, NO

Mission Statement

Our focus is on girls and young women in rural and underprivileged areas around the world. This is where girls face acute disadvantage, and where their empowerment is having the most transformative impact. We are accountable first and foremost to each individual girl and young woman we serve. We see the world from her perspective and dismantle the social and financial barriers that keep her from developing her full potential. In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project "Together for Ukraine" to provide free educational programs for Ukrainians. We strongly believe education, upskilling, and employment are among the most impactful ways to support and help rebuild Ukraine.

Description

The Educational Equality Institute supports marginalised girls to stay in school, graduate, succeed and lead change by example.

It’s about ensuring every girl and young woman has power over her own life and can shape the world around her. The Educational Equality Institute is campaigning in support of girls’ power, voice, participation and leadership through education.
