Do you play guitar and would like to share your musical talent with someone who'd really appreciate it?
We are looking for a compassionate volunteer to visit with our hospice patients, specifically our music loving patients! We have patients that used to love to play instruments but no longer can due to their diseases. You could be someone that can play for them and listen as they share their passion for music. They may be able to teach you a thing or two as well!
Please consider donating your time and talent to people that need it most!
Our volunteers are full members of our hospice team and often form close ties with the patient and their family. In our Volunteer Orientation class you will understand some of the challenges that face patients and families and ways you can bring quality of life and compassionate care to them.
As a hospice volunteer you will learn about the hospice philosophy, communicating with patients and families, family dynamics, spiritual care and the grief process.
Please consider joining our team as we honor life and offer hope to those who need us most.
