ORGANIZATION: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation New England Chapter

Take Steps Committee

Take Steps is a family-friendly fundraising event where patients, loved ones, friends and supporters empower and inspire each other to continue the fight against inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Volunteer with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation for the New England Take Steps walk on June 7 at North Point Park in Cambridge, MA.

The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff are our top priorities. The New England Chapter will follow all safety guidelines determined based on MA State law and regulations.

Volunteer Shift Options:

Friday 6/6/25

  • Evening Pre-Event Set up 5-8pm

Saturday 6/7/25

  • All Day - 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

  • Pre-Event Set up - 6:00 AM - 9:00AM

  • Event Only - 8:30 - 12:30 PM

  • Post-Event Clean Up - 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

The mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is to cure and prevent Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and supportive programs.

CCF is a great national non-profit with 45 chapters across the US. The New England chapter is small in staff but rich in volunteers. We need your help to ensure our tradition of excellence in fundraising and patient services!
