Lend Corvallis Parks and Recreation a hand at our FREE annual Earth Day event, Planet Palooza! Planet Palooza features a Solutions Fair with activities hosted local partnering organizations as well as an Earth Day parade around Chintimini Park. Co-sponsored with Ashbrook Independent School and many other community organizations.
This year, we will need help with:
- Event Setup & Teardown: Help us set up and tear down our event canopies and rooms for Planet Palooza! Volunteers will help move tables, chairs, and work both indoors and outdoors.
- Parade Energizers: Help us energize our participants as they parade around Chintimini Park. Blow bubbles and make some noise in your best nature-themed costume!
- Room Attendant: Monitor the room during an Earth Day themed storytime at our indoor Solutions Fair.
To sign up, join our Avery Recreation volunteer pool by visiting https://bttr.im/kmmv2 or respond directly with your preferred shift date and time.
About Us: Corvallis Parks & Recreation strives to work with the Benton County community to eliminate fees as a barrier to participation in classes and activities. Our role in the community would not be possible without the generous donations of time, energy and skills from volunteers like you!
