Description:
We are looking for a volunteer interested in learning to tell stories (or has knowledge of telling stories) through written communication (blogs, social media, etc.) or even video. In this volunteer position you'll work with our organization to draw out the rich history of the young people that founded the organization as well as captivate the stories of young people currently engaged.

Over the course of a few months, you'll collaborate with our team and possibly conducting internal interviews to refine narratives that showcase the essence, importance, and impact of our organization.

The deliverable would be: at least one successful article, Op Ed, or blog, channel feature.

Description

The National Youth Bike Council puts on the Annual Youth Bike Summit, a 3-day conference that enables connects young people into the world of bicycling or bicycle advocacy and teaches life lessons through workshops. In additional to gathering youth ages 24 and under, the Council organizes bicycle programs across the US to improve the mental health of young individuals through increasing the amount of young people bicycling.
