Actors Ensemble of Berkeley regularly produces two summer productions each year in the fabulous John Hinkel Park Amphitheater in north Berkeley.

We are looking for folks interested in helping costume the actors, either as the main costumer or as an assistant. We will train! We have a large collection of costumes and contacts with other sources. There is a budget and there is compensation for expenses, including travel and other expenses. It is a great opportunity to learn and interact and create something beautiful for everyone to enjoy!

These productions are free-of-charge, performances are on weekend afternoons. This year our first production is "Much Ado About Nothing" by Shakespeare, opening June 29th and performing weekends at 4 p.m. plus July 4th till July 14th. Our second production is "The Imaginary Invalid", opening August 24th and performing weekends at 4 p.m. plus Labor Day Monday until September 8th. Rehearsals for "Much Ado" begin May 14th and will be Tuesday-Friday evenings in and near downtown Berkeley, plus some weekend days in the park itself. Rehearsals for "Invalid" will begin the week of July 8th and follow a similar schedule, though more probably Sunday-Thursday evenings.
