We are seeking two dedicated food rescuer to pick up at the Walmart near Wadsworth and Colfax and deliver to us at The Denver Inner City Parish. Ideally it would be two folks together because it will be could potentially be up to 700 pounds of food.

We are seeking pick up for Monday and/ or Wednesday mornings anytime between 7-11am. Most likely pick up and drop off will take around 2 hours of your time.

Preferred:
- An individual with a larger car or willingness to make multiple trips
-Someone who can continue doing pickups for at least a couple months once a week.

  • Hunger Relief - meeting clients’ basic needs and reducing food insecurity.

  • Health and Wellness - increasing access to and consumption of healthy foods, access to nutrition and resource education, and increasing access to active lifestyle options by participants.

  • Community Support - providing services and resource and benefit navigation support for people of all ages.
