Organization: One Bread Foundation, Inc. - Nationwide NGO Combating Human Trafficking

Time Commitment: 1.5 hours minimum per week

Location: Fully remote, San Francisco Bay Area-based organization with nationwide team

Overview: We are in the fight to End Human Trafficking in our country, One Bread Foundation, Inc. exists for the sole purpose of making grants for the Rehabilitation of Children and Teens rescued from Sex Trafficking nationwide.

The Role:

The Public Speaker serves as a dynamic representative of One Bread Inc.'s education department, engaging with the public and external organizations to spread awareness about human trafficking. This role involves delivering presentations at various events to educate and inform about the dangers and signs of human trafficking. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to social justice, and the ability to inspire and mobilize others.

General Responsibilities:

  • Attend a weekly meeting with the Director of Education.
  • Represent One Bread Inc. at events, conferences, and community outreach programs, serving as the public face of the education department.
  • Design and deliver educational and motivational speeches about human trafficking, tailored to diverse audiences including students, professionals, and community groups.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and national organizations to co-host events and campaigns that promote awareness and advocacy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to recruit, train, and manage volunteers for public speaking engagements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of presentations, using feedback and data to improve future efforts.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed on the latest trends, research, and best practices in public speaking and human trafficking prevention.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars that equip participants with the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to human trafficking in their communities.

Requirements:

  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain and create working relationships.
  • Bachelor's Degree
