CONTENT CREATOR AND RESEARCHER, Education Dept. - Volunteer Opportunity

Organization: One Bread Foundation, Inc. - Nationwide NGO Combating Human Trafficking

Time Commitment: 1.5 hours minimum per week

Location: Fully remote, San Francisco Bay Area-based organization with nationwide team

Overview: We are in the fight to End Human Trafficking in our country, One Bread Foundation, Inc. exists for the sole purpose of making grants for the Rehabilitation of Children and Teens rescued from Sex Trafficking nationwide.

The Role: The Content Creator and Researcher is responsible for producing high-quality, research-based content that supports One Bread Inc.'s educational initiatives on human trafficking. This role involves conducting thorough research, creating written and visual materials for various platforms, and staying abreast of current trends and data in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, creativity, and a commitment to making a difference through education.

Responsibilities:

• Attend a weekly meeting with the Director of Education.
• Conduct in-depth research on human trafficking, including statistics, trends, and educational content.
• Create compelling and informative written and visual content for presentations, educational materials, and online platforms.
• Collaborate with the Director of Education and other team members to ensure content aligns with organizational goals and messaging.
• Keep updated on industry developments and incorporate relevant, up-to-date information into educational materials.
• Strong research skills with the ability to gather and analyze data from various sources.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to create engaging and informative written content for presentations, educational materials, and online platforms.
• Proficiency in creating visual content such as infographics, slideshows, or videos to enhance educational materials.
• Creativity and attention to detail to produce high-quality content that effectively communicates key messages.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the Director of Education and other team members to ensure content aligns with organizational goals and messaging.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Previous experience in content creation, research, writing, or related areas preferred.
• Familiarity with human trafficking issues or a willingness to learn about such issues through research.

• Access to a reliable internet connection and necessary computer equipment to perform remote tasks.
• Strong interest in making a difference through education and raising awareness about human trafficking issues.
• Eagerness to continuously improve and enhance content creation skills and adapt to evolving educational needs.
