Join our team as a Local Coordinator and become a catalyst for change in your community!
Local Coordinators (LCs) are Independent Contractors who connect international exchange students with volunteer American host families and provide support throughout the year.

LC Responsibilities Include:
- Recruiting local host families
- Assisting families with the approval process
- Partnering with local schools for student placements
- Hosting orientations for families and students
- Coordinating volunteer activities
- Monitoring students throughout the year
- Mentoring and supporting students
LC Requirements:
- Internet Access
- Background Check
- Completion of DOS Test (Greenheart provides support)
- Must be OVER 26 years of age
- Must reside in the United States

We are a designated sponsor of the U.S. Department of State for the following J-1 Exchange Visitor Programs:

- Intern and Trainee
- Summer Work Travel
