Join the Red Cross and our community partners as we Sound the Alarm about home fires and how working smoke alarms can protect you and your loved ones and reduce your risk from a home fire. We install free smoke alarms year-round and every spring we engage the community by scheduling smoke alarm install events through our five Red Cross Michigan chapters to raise awareness about fire safety. Each day 7 deaths as a result of non-working or non-existent smoke detectors in the home. Help us save lives and reduce that number.
